1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE RENTAL VEHICLE
Owner hereby agrees to rent a passenger vehicle identified as follows: Make and model, Year, VIN,
Color, and Plate Number (hereinafter referred to as "Rental Vehicle").
2. RENTAL TERM
The Owner hereby agrees to rent the Vehicle to the Renter for the duration specified in the
application checkout details. The term of this agreement commences upon the pickup date and
terminates upon return. Extension requests require a minimum of 2 days' notice prior to
scheduled return; failure to notify may result in immediate request denial or additional
administrative penalty fees.
3. MILEAGE
The Rental Vehicle has unlimited mileage per day within the agreed regional boundaries.
4. RENTAL FEES
Base fees are weekly. Weekly payments shall be due every Friday. The first payment is due once
the rental agreement is signed by the client. Should the Renter fail to remit payment by 11:59
PM EST on the due date, a late fee of $50 shall be assessed. In the event payment is not
received within 24 hours of the due date, the Owner reserves the right to disable and/or
repossess the Rental Vehicle through the services of a security company.
5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS; REPORTING TO POLICE
You are responsible for damage to, or loss or theft of the Vehicle, including the cost of repair,
or the actual cash retail value of the Vehicle if not repairable, plus loss of use and
administrative expenses. You must report all accidents or incidents of theft/vandalism to us and
the police immediately upon discovery.
6. INSURANCE COVERAGE & CLAIMS
Option 1: You agree to provide your own auto insurance covering yourself, us,
and the vehicle. You must list the rental company as an interested party on the policy.
Option 2: Purchase Renters Collision Protection (RCP) from the rental company
for $20/day. RCP pays collision damage to the rented vehicle up to $20,000 with a $250
deductible. RCP is non-refundable.
Option 3: You agree to allow the rental car company to create you a personalized
insurance policy covering the vehicle.
Insurance Claims: In the event of vehicle damage, the renter is responsible for
paying a $1,000 insurance deductible. If a claim is not filed, the renter agrees to pay the
Owner directly for repairs.
7. OUT OF STATE DRIVING & SMOKING
Out of State Driving: Strictly prohibited. Driving outside the state terminates
the agreement, and the renter assumes full responsibility for all associated towing fees,
mechanical issues, or damages incurred outside state lines.
Smoking: Absolutely no smoking inside the vehicle. A smoking clean fee of $150
will be charged if any evidence of smoking is detected.
8. RETURNING VEHICLE
If the renter returns the vehicle mid-week (on or before Wednesday), the payment for the week
will be prorated ( renter owes half of the weekly rate). If the renter returns the vehicle any
day after Wednesday, they remain responsible for paying the full weekly rate.
9. BREACH OF CONTRACT
Includes failure to pay rental services, unauthorized use of vehicle, failure to return vehicle,
negligence/misuse, allowing unauthorized drivers, and violation of traffic laws.
